Ronald and his surf instructors were amazing. He wasn’t pushy for us to buy anything and spoke great English. The most accommodating person we met on the beach. The instructors were perfect as we were first timers and spent lots of time with us in the water. My husband had never snowboarded or surfed and was able to get up on his first try because of them. Only person to use for lessons in Tamarindo!

Just got back from Tamarindo and my time with Blue Crab Tours was amazing. Paul the owner set everything up from start to finish, he is the man you want to speak with in Tamarindo. I learned to surf and the scuba diving was a 10/10 experience. The activities they offer were easy on the wallet and all our expectations were exceeded. We met Ronald on the beach outside the Diria and he was so helpful to my friends and I. He gave us a great deal on a tour of the Estuary and surfing lessons. Daniel was our guide on the boat and even took us on a little walk through the jungle looking for monkeys. Oscar was our surfing instructor and he was the best! We all rode the beautiful waves of Tamarindo (in the rain even!) It was awesome!

My boyfriend and I had a blast working with Blue Crab on our trip to Tamarindo this passed week! We did a variety of tours including zip lining, water tubing, ATVing and took surf lessons. Paul really took it to the next level with the level of service him and co-workers provided. They were helpful, friendly and made the planning so much easier. Every trip was organized with an itinerary, priced well and extremely convenient. Blue Crab made it extremely easy for us to do everything on our bucket list!

Driving into town we saw signs for Blue Crab Tours so we decided to give them a call. Paul was able to assist us in booking an all day adventure that included horseback riding, tubbing, zip lining, waterfall and hot springs. The trip even included lunch. Before purchasing our tour, we called a few other places but Blue Crabs prices were the BEST! Paul was able to pick us up at your hotel. There was three of us so we had plenty of room in the van, ac was a plus. We met his partner Ronald on the beach a few days later and we booked surf lessons. The instructors were so much fun and knowable. Thanks Blue Crab for making our trip to Tamarindo a memorable one! This guys are a must book!

10 of us rented a house outside of Tamarindo. Amongst substantial research we hired Blue Crab for both a personal chef service & for surf lessons. Needless to say, they were excellent.
They purchased local fresh fish & vegetables & came to our house to prepare the meal. While they prepared the meal they also prepared all sorts of frozen drinks & served to us out at the pool. The drinks were perfect & the food was delicious.
Another day we used Blue Crab for surf lessons. They conducted a 20 minute instructional overview on the beach & then helped each of us in the water for another 1.5 hours+ – It is a lot harder than it looks! But the team was so helpful & made sure everyone got up on the board & surfed on their own. It was a blast.
