Ronald at Blue Crab set us up for a fabulous charter fishing trip for 5 people. We went Rooster fishing for an afternoon, caught a bunch of roosterfish and had a great boat ride at the same time and beautiful scenery! We have used Ronald at Blue Crab many times and he always provides excellent customer service. We look forward to our next adventure he sets us up with!

We went on a half day fishing trip which was unreal. We couldn’t unhooked the fish fast enough to real another one in. Our captain made fresh sushi on the boat and we brought some fillets to the local restaurant to grill up which really capped of the an awesome day on the water . Blue Crab makes is very easy with pickup and drop off transportation for any traveler. I would definitely use Blue Crab again!!!

we got Picked up from outside our hotel bang on Time.in a very nice 4×4 taken to the harbour, our boat was waiting everything was so easy .
Fishing charters were also very good on a Boat called Spartacus very helpful crew & great Skipper no big fish but plenty of action with Red Snappers . Bonito. Travali. black Tuna .one of which was done as Sushi for our lunch very tasty & Fresh.
I cant praise these guys enough supurb from start to finish

First encounter with Ronald was… who was this guy trying to sell me? But he was not pushy, I asked questions, he answered every question I had. So I booked a fishing trip with him.. everything was cool! Went out caught fish and had it cooked down the beach in Tamarindo that evening. Then since everything went so well, a group of 8 of us booked a whitewater rafting trip… it was also excellent! This time we were able to meet Adam. These guys are very cool, deliver on what they sell and I would book with these guys again.. as we did at least another tour with them. So, don’t bother booking with anyone else. I recommend Blue Crab Tours!

Met Ronald in Front of our hotel in Tamarindo. Great guy and very knowledgable. Ronald is so helpful in ensuring you enjoy whichever tour you decide to do. We selected a half day fishing charter. Ronald lined up the trip and scheduled a taxi to pick us up in front of the hotel the next morning. Ronald was there to meet us with our taxi driver to drive to meet the boat. The boat was great and friendly captain and helper. They had a cooler full of soda, water, beer, and even snacks. We had 7 lines in the water for 3 guys for 4 hours. Captain got us on some fish and caught tuna, snapper, and needle fish. I couldn’t ask for the trip to be any better and VERY reasonable cost for what we got. If you are going to Tamarindo I would definitely recommend looking up Ronald in front of the palapa gate at the Diria. We also rented a couple of surf boards from him for less than the surf stores.

Ask for David. He is a local from Tamarindo and speaks excellent English. David gave us a tour of the Tamarindo Marine area. He speaks to the monkeys!!! Really!!! David set us up with Flamingo sport fishing and we caught a 160 lb sailfish on a 5 hour trip out of Flamingo. Good service.
