Paul and his team were absolutely awesome! Not only did we do 3 amazing tours, but they transported us everywhere throughout our 8 day stay I would recommend the catamaran + BBQ or the ATV + Ziplining combo – both super fun!
Communicating everything from airport travel to pickup for tours, it was so easy and relaxing not to worry about it. I would definitely recommend Blue Crab to everyone!

Found this through a trip advisor search and I am glad that I did. Alex from Black Stallion Ranch is amazing! My friend and I were the only ones booked and he came to us and picked us up. His staff were so much fun & they made the entire experience more enjoyable. After we were done, he dropped us off and we met Kasey at action adventure tours for ATV and it was so thrilling to ride around and see Costa Rica on an ATV! Our BBQ didn’t happen because it is low season and there weren’t enough people, but Alex met us for drinks and took us out for authentic Italian pizza and wine. He literally went out of his way to make sure we had an incredible time and it was a bonus getting to know him and swapping stories. I 100% recommend Alex and Kasey for your next trip out here. Try to avoid locals trying to book you on tours. They are either drug addicts and will swindle you, or they will come through but not provide what they promised. I learned the hard way.

This tour was outstanding. Alex from Black Stallion Ranch was so accommodating. He made sure we were able to do our activities before the evening rain came in. We did the zipline…which scared me to death. But Marco and Sergio made me feel at ease. My kids were be zipline upside down.
Then we headed off to ATV…great ride thru town and then to Cochal Beach to see the sunset.
Afterwards we went back to condo to shower and rest before Alex picked us up for a private BBQ dinner at his ranch. The food was amazing. I even walked away with a recipe from his staff.
Absolutely a must do tour while in Tamarindo
