We have travelled enough in the world to say that he service from Ronaldo and Dave, who seem to work seven days a week is outstanding. Ronaldo accompanied us to the hot springs outside of Liberia and spent the day with us to ensure that we had the best of times. I cannot sing enough praise for the service they provided. We did a total of four fours including diving, the river tour, sunset cruise and the hot springs. They met us at 6:30am on two of these occasions and made sure everything went smoothly.

We met Ronald on the beach outside the Diria and he was so helpful to my friends and I. He gave us a great deal on a tour of the Estuary and surfing lessons. Daniel was our guide on the boat and even took us on a little walk through the jungle looking for monkeys. Oscar was our surfing instructor and he was the best! We all rode the beautiful waves of Tamarindo (in the rain even!) It was awesome!

We used Blue Crab Adventures this past week while in Tamarindo.
We did a river boat tour one day that I thought was great. It was relaxing and informative about all of the local wild life in the area. We saw howler monkeys, crocs and all types of beautiful birds.
My 12yr old wanted to go on an ATV tour and my 16yr old wanted to zip line. I thought we would have to do separate excursions but David was able to put both together for a great day of fun! We took the ATVs around Brasilito and up into the mountains where we zip lined. Then drove the ATVs back down and around a local beach. The kids loved it!
Thank you David! We looked for you this morning to say goodbye….we will see you on our next trip down to Tamarindo!

We had tried to book adventures and tours through another company, with no response, so I contacted Blue Crab prior to our arrival in Tamarindo. Paul emailed me right back, listened to what we wanted to do with our three small children and suggested activities for the week. He scheduled the activities in the morning so we had the rest of the day to relax at the beach. Each activity was great – surfing, estuary tour, catamaran sunset cruise and a day at Rincon de la Vieja. Before we left for Costa Rica, we had an itinerary and Paul confirmed via email the night before each trip. They were on time and professional. I was worried our 5 year old wouldn’t want to zip line when we were planning the trip, so Paul said he would sit with her while the rest of us went. He also surprised my oldest with homemade Mango Juice before one tour. Blue Crab was great to work with and we had a great trip!
