We were unsure what to do while we were in Costa Rica, so Paul made all the right recommendations, between what and where to eat and hang out in Tamarindo and the surrounding areas, what tours he thought we might like, and everything went perfectly for us. The ATV tour was a blast, a very fun route through beaches, up hills, dirt roads, and we stopped a few times to get refreshments, relax and look at the incredible views.

We have been to Tamarindo twice in the past few years. Love every minute of it! Ronald with Blue Crab set us up this go around with ATV trip for 6 and Conchal for one of our excursions. We drove ATV’s, had lobster on the at Big Mama’s tent, snorkeled and had an unbelievable afternoon. The driver picked us up timely and brought us back. Our family couldn’t have asked for anything better!

I visited Costa Rica for the first time with a few of my close friends in December 2016, for vacation. Blue Crab organized two trips for us during our stay. We wanted to do everything but had limited days there. We chose the Full Adventure Combo (which I HIGHLY suggest). This included a horseback ride, tubing down the lazy river, zip lining through the forest, a volcanic mud bath, and relaxing in the natural hot springs. Those experiences were 100% worth the price! We enjoyed our first tour so much with Paul, that we decided to book another! Our second tour, Paul also organized. We went on an ATV ride through the forests and breathtaking beaches of Costa Rica. We stopped to watch the sunset on a secluded beach, it was the perfect combination of activity and relaxation. There is no doubt that this trip was unforgettable. This company made that possible with their staff, knowledge, and guidance. I have memories, that will last forever!

Our family couldn’t have been more happy with the service provided. We went down to Tamarindo with no pre set plans for the holidays not really knowing what the town had to offer since we have never been there before. We decided we would feel out the area and see what they had before we made any commitments for our trip. We really wanted to be on our own time at our own pace. We came across Blue Crab saw their signs pulling into town so we decided to see what they had to offer. We contacted them, Paul and Ronald came down to meet us in person so we could go over any questions and interests that we had. The atv tour was awesome we were all over the backroads and beaches in the local towns around Tamarindo so we got to see the culture and life outside the tourist areas which was a very cool and eye opening experience in itself. We also did the catamaran sunset the next day which was amazing! We got to swim out in the cove, music, open bar, fresh fruit and dips, met some other fun families enjoying their vacation, and to top it off was accompanied by a fleet of dolphins the entire way into shore as the sun was setting. Couldn’t have ended our day on a better note! Thank you Blue Crab we had a wonderful week and cant wait to join you again for some Pura Vida!!!

We heard about Paul and Ronald at the front desk of our hotel (El Esplendor) from other guests who were raving about their experience. We, too, had a wonderful experience with Blue Crab and would recommend them for anyone visiting Costa Rica. Essentially, any tour outfit you choose drives you to designated tourist attractions (e.g., zip lining, ATV, horses) and sets you up with the activity guides while waiting for you. The ride to the activities is long, however, Paul was the most friendly, informative, and helpful person you can imagine. Because Paul is from Boston, it was easy to communicate any concerns and get any information we needed.
